Your prescription savings card
Show it at the pharmacy and pay a discounted price on your medicines. The card costs you nothing, there’s nothing to sign up for, and anyone in your family can use it.
This is a discount card, not insurance. This is not health insurance coverage, and it is not Medicare. The card is provided by a third-party savings program.

How it works
Three steps, and you pay nothing for the card.

Get your card

Search your medicine
Enter the medicine, the dose and the amount, then choose your price.

Show it at the pharmacy
Show your card at the pharmacy window to get the discount.
Who can use it
Anyone. With or without insurance, Medicare or Medicaid.
- No cost for the card
- No sign-up or membership
- You and your family
- Doesn’t expire
When you use the card, you pay the discounted price instead of using your insurance for that prescription, so compare both at the counter. What you pay with the card may not count toward your plan’s deductible or out-of-pocket limit. Savings vary by medicine and pharmacy.

Questions about the card
How does the card find a price?
The card site searches prescription savings programs and shows you the discounts it finds. Prices can change daily and vary by program and pharmacy, so search your medicine before you fill it. Your savings will differ.
Do I need to sign up?
No. The card costs you nothing, and there is no registration or membership.
Who can use it?
You, your family and your friends. Having insurance, Medicare or Medicaid does not disqualify you. If you use the card, you pay the discounted price instead of using your insurance for that prescription, so compare both at the counter.
Does the card expire?
No. You can use it as often as you like. Prices change, so search your medicine before each fill.
Is my personal information safe?
You don’t have to give personal information to use a discount.
Who provides the card?
A third-party prescription savings program, at therxcard.net. Obamacare Hotline gives you the card but does not run the program, set the prices or process the discounts. Questions about a price or a pharmacy go to the card site. For anything else, call us.
